"Likeliest" landing spot reportedly emerges for Alabama's Lane Kiffin

Lane Kiffin is running out of options.

Despite plenty of college football head coaching openings, Lane Kiffin is still stranded as Alabama's offensive coordinator.

Kiffin was passed up for the Houston head coaching spot. The USF gig looked like a possible fit, but reports detailed Thursday night that Charlie Strong was in negotiations for that job. And reports are now circulating that his "likeliest landing spot" is LSU, but he could end up back in the NFL, per 247sports' Travis Haney.

Kiffin has rebuilt his image during a short stay at Alabama and he was expected to be in serious running for another head coaching job.
