Tennessee Fan Caught "Getting Lucky" in the Stands

Look, I'm going to give it to you straight: SEC fans are lunatics. Read up on Alabama fan Harvey Updyke, who poisoned the iconic trees at Auburn's Toomer's Corner then called in to Paul Finebaum's show to confess, if you don't believe me.

Just watch the joy ride video of LSU fans breaking into Tiger Stadium or step inside one of these ridiculous "Dawg Caves" that UGA alumni have constructed if you need further evidence.

The Southeastern Conference is the heartbeat of college football. Throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama and the rest of the Southeastern United States, football-obsessed fans down beer, inhale vodka at tailgates and go overboard on Saturdays. Game Day is practically a holiday.

It's no surprise, then, that SEC fans have been caught doing some pretty stupid things. The University of Tennessee might be the king of that. Peeing on Tim Tebow's statue at UF? Yep, that happened. Flipping off the camera and fighting each other in the middle of a game? That too.

In 2015, two Tennessee Volunteer fans were caught, um, enjoying themselves in the middle of a football game.

To be fair, the Volunteers were ahead 10-0 against the Baker Mayfield-led Oklahoma Sooners in the second quarter of their 2015 matchup at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

After a face mask penalty was called on the Sooners defense, ESPN's camera panned to a section of Volunteers fans. Two Tennessee fans apparently got a little too excited.

Let's just say one of them had his hands full.

Busted. Literally.

Somewhere Peyton Manning, Reggie White, Jason Witten and other Tennessee greats are shaking their heads (or giggling to themselves while their wives sit by in disgust).

Unfortunately for these two, the rest of the night was not that great. No. 23 Tennessee went into halftime against No. 19 Oklahoma with a 17-3 lead and wound up losing 31-24 in double overtime. Tennessee went 9-4 that year while Oklahoma lost to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinals.

If you'd like to see the video of this event, fast-forward to about the 53:40 mark below.

But, hey, I'm sure a guy like Baker Mayfield and his alleged "thing" for Cheesecake Factory parking lots don't mind this at all. I know Tennessee fans sure as hell don't.

This post was originally published on October 13, 2015, but Tennessee fans being Tennessee fans will never get old.
