Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason arrested, faces up to four charges

The 22-year-old was drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason was arrested over the weekend in Hollywood. Fla. According to NBC 6 in Miami, Mason was arrested by police on Saturday. Mason, who rushed for 765 yards last season with the Rams, is reportedly being charged with resisting an officer without violence, reckless driving, failure to register a motor vehicle and possession of cannabis less than 20 grams. Following his arrest, Mason was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. per NBC 6.

According to police, Mason was going 75 mph in a 35 mph zone around 4:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

There has been no statement yet from the Rams. The 22-year-old Mason was drafted by the Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft following a successful career at Auburn. We will continue to update this story.
