LSU advances to Regional Championship game on wild inside-the-park grand slam

Inside the park grand slam? Yep, we've never seen anything like it.

LSU only needed one hit Sunday against Rice to advance to the Regional Championship game, when Greg Deichmann notched a laser to right field that got stuck under a bench, allowing the Tigers an inside-the-park grand slam and a 4-2 victory.

The Tigers will play the winner of the Rice-Southern Louisiana contest Monday at 7 p.m.. If LSU wins, they'll advance to the Super Regional. If they lose, a second game will be played on Tuesday.
