Maryland suspends Stone for flagrant foul against Wisconsin

That's the right call if you ask me.

Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon has announced that center Diamond Stone will be suspended for one game for a technical foul he received on Saturday. Stone pushed Wisconsin forward Vitto Brown's head into the floor and was only given a technical foul rather than a flagrant-2 foul.

The Big Ten has agreed with the suspension and won't punish Stone further. The incident occurred near the end of the first half of the Maryland-Wisconsin game on Saturday. Stone will not play against Minnesota on Thursday because of the suspension.
