Michael Jordan said this NBA player, not LeBron James, should star in Space Jam 2

That's a pretty unexpected choice.

If 'His Airness," Michael Jordan had his pick of who would follow in his footsteps with Space Jam 2, it wouldn't be LeBron James.

While speaking at a basketball camp, Jordan was posed with the question of who he'd pick, and that name was:

Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin.

It's an interesting choice, but we find it hard to believe filmmakers would even consider adding Griffin over James as the sequel's leading star.

Other than James, no other stars are listed for the highly-anticipated movie, per IMDB.
