Jim Harbaugh is subtweeting about the SEC and it's glorious

The Jim Harbaugh vs. the SEC battle continues!

The Jim Harbaugh vs. the big bad SEC story just continues to get better and better. Harbaugh decided to combine a recruiting trip with his team's spring football practice schedule into one when he announced the Wolverines would be spending their spring break holding spring football practices in Florida. There will be four on-field practices, but the team and coaches will engage in various off the field events as well. Essentially, the trip is exactly what it sounds like — a glorified recruiting trip. The NCAA currently does allow satellite recruiting camps and off campus practices, so for now, what Harbaugh is doing is perfectly within the rules.

But the Southeastern Conference sure doesn't think so. The SEC, all the way up to commissioner Greg Sankey, has openly expressed the conference's displeasure with Michigan heading down to SEC territory for "spring practices," going to far as to call Michigan's action "inappropriate."

Harbaugh himself, who is usually open and active on social media, including Twitter, took to that platform to troll the SEC's backlash of Michigan's spring football practices down south. He tweeted about the Wolverines being "talented magicians"  "masters of deception" while linking to a column from the Detroit Free Press that essentially slams and criticizes the SEC for having a problem with what Harbaugh is doing.

An excerpt from the fairly opinionated column is below — you all can probably see why Harbaugh liked it.

"The assertion that these players are being forced to practice is silly and also an excuse for what the SEC is really concerned about. IMG Academy in Bradenton, where the Wolverines will be conducting their practices, is home to some of the top recruits in the 2017 class.

The mighty, dominant SEC, a conference known for oversigning and other questionable recruiting tactics, is worried about ethics on the recruiting trail. If you needed a laugh today, there it is.

SEC powers-that-be seem to be more focused on Harbaugh than their real issues. Tennessee is in the midst of a sexual-assault scandal, and LSU football is being threatened by a budget crisis in Louisiana."

Get your popcorn ready, it looks like the battle between the SEC vs. Harbaugh is far from over after this recent, single tweet.
