Dalvin Cook is very good at football.
Florida State's talented junior running back has landed within the top ten in Heisman Trophy voting in each of the past two seasons and Cook is easily the most dynamic member of a dangerous offense for the Seminole. On Dec. 30, Florida State will face off against one of the stingiest defenses in the country in the form of the Michigan Wolverines and, as you may expect, Cook is a point of concern for the opposition.
Just how much of a concern, though, was up for debate... until Wednesday. During a press conference leading up to the Orange Bowl, Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown put forth some thoughts on the prospect of trying to stop Cook on the ground and it was revealing of his mindset.

Brown, who has done a fantastic job in molding a top-five defense during his first season in Ann Arbor, was quite honest here and it also ended up being amusing. There is one school of thought that this level of stress on a 61-year-old man isn't ideal. Still, the other part of this is that Brown is sufficiently terrified of when Cook "gets his hands on the ball" and Michigan's defense should probably share that level of fear.
Dalvin Cook accumulated more than 2,000 total yards and 19 touchdowns during the 2016 season and Michigan will be greatly focused on stopping him in what should be an awesome bowl match-up. Just ask Don Brown.
