LSU pledge in talks with other schools after Tigers make other QB an offer

This could open things up.

Myles Brennan was originally an LSU commit before Ed Orgeron extended a scholarship to Tua Tagovailoa, an Alabama commit. The four-star quarterback was taken aback when Orgeron openly came out and said that he would be looking for a dual-threat quarterback in the recruiting class and so now he sounds a little more open in his recruitment.

Brennan is keeping tabs on where certain offensive coordinators are going over the next months so he has a better idea of whether LSU is really the place for him. He's spoken to a handful of schools, including Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Florida State, but is keeping tabs on their search for quarterbacks, too.

He's been getting a bunch of calls from schools now that they've heard he is somewhat available and he's not too mad about it either.

"It's different to actually take those phone calls. Any guys that I shut the door on, I'm back. It's a weird situation, but they understand it because it's recruiting. It's a business and things can change instantly. I'm really waiting to see who the offensive coordinator is going to be and take it from there."

Brennan had a conversation with Tagovailoa about his commitment and the Hawaiian native said he is full on Alabama so Brennan should definitely look to stick it out with LSU.
