Five-star running back Cam Akers, one of the top ball-carriers in the country, has narrowed his list, cutting Ohio State, Michigan, Cal and Auburn, to a final six.
His new list includes Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida State and Tennessee.
According to SEC Country, that list is much smaller, with the reported main contenders Florida State, LSU and Ole Miss.

He'd certainly fit right in with the Seminoles or Ole Miss. It's a bit harder to see the LSU fit, but the Tigers consistently nab top running backs and have been able to work them into a timeshare with the whoever the top remaining back is. Currently, that would be Derrius Guice.
Akers is the No. 4 overall recruit.
He's expected to make his commitment on www.nfhsnetwork.com Tuesday, December 27.
