Terrace Marshall Jr. is going to be a junior this year, but he's already been getting a ton of looks from schools thanks to his five-star rating as the top recruit in Louisiana and No. 2 receiver in the class of 2018. The 6'4", 190-pound wideout already holds offers from Alabama and LSU, but is expecting some more offers and schools to recruit him heavily after the dead period ends in September.
Marshall says that no one is the leader right now and that he's looking forward to the recruiting process.
"It was a great, great experience, but it's still early," Marshall told SEC Country. "I'm just going to be a junior and I'm really excited about getting all of those offers. Some, I was really surprised by. But nobody is standing out right now; everyone is equal to start. I'm just waiting to see after Sept. 1 when they start talking to me like they really want me, so I'm just waiting until then to see who talks to me like they really want me. I'm waiting until then to see who shows the most interest."
LSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor and TCU are among the schools that the elite prospect expects to follow through after extending offers in recent months. Being from the state, Marshall has already made several trips to LSU but is still giving the Razorback and Aggies a chance as he thinks he could start right away at A&M and he likes Razorback receivers coach Michael Smith.
