New Jersey's top recruit looking at three schools down south

He would be a steal for anyone.

Deng Gak —- younger brother of Florida freshman Gorjok Gak —- is New Jersey's top recruit in the class of 2017. The 6'10", 195-pound big man is now down to three schools according to Adam Zagoria.

The Blair Academy product is considering Kansas, Florida and Miami now according to Blair coach Joe Mantegna. He originally had Indiana and Duke in the mix, but has apparently knocked them out.

Gak visited Miami Sept. 23-25 and will also trip to Florida Oct. 19 and to Kansas Oct. 21. The Florida visit was postponed after Hurricane Matthew. His brother is already at Florida so Deng will undoubtedly be sold hard on the Gators during that trip.

Mantegna says that Gak is a bit of a late bloomer and didn't come over to America from Australia until he was a junior so he has only scratched the surface of what he can do.
