The New Orleans Saints were on their way to upsetting the Denver Broncos at home Saturday afternoon until a blocked extra point got returned for a two-point conversion.
The Saints scored and were set up to take a one-point lead with under 1:30 remaining in the fourth quarter until the Broncos defense showed up big time, blocking the extra point and returning it for the score.
It certainly looked like the Broncos defender stepped out of bounds:
But refs upheld the play and the Broncos moved to 7-3 on the season.
