NFL Insider says rumor of Jim Harbaugh to one NFL team is "a very real thing"

Harbaugh's squad finished just outside of the College Football Playoff, at 10-2 with a loss to Ohio State in the final week of the regular season holding the Wolverines back.

Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are preparing for Florida State in the Orange Bowl. But that hasn't stopped the Harbaugh is heading back to the NFL rumors from churning up, and NFL insider Albert Breer is only stoking the fire.

During an appearance on Colin Cowherd's show, Breer reportedly told the Fox Sports 1 personality the Harbaugh to the Rams rumors are a "very real thing."

Breer later acknowledged the report on Twitter:

Jeff Fisher just signed an extension with the Rams, and he responded by coaching Los Angeles into a miserable 42-14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Fisher tied Dan Reeves for the most losses ever, and has proven other than one outlier (a miraculous Tennessee Titans Super Bowl run following near-certain defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills), Fisher has been no more than a mediocre coach.

After a Super Bowl run with the San Francisco 49ers, Harbaugh returned to the college ranks, this time with Michigan. Following a 10-3 season and Citrus Bowl win last year, Harbaugh's squad finished just outside of the College Football Playoff, at 10-2 with a loss to Ohio State in the final week of the regular season holding the Wolverines back.
