There will be plenty of quarterback-needy teams over the offseason, but according to one NFL insider, the No. 1 spot has emerged for Dallas Cowboys veteran Tony Romo:
Romo didn't play in any games this season aside from the finale against the Philadelphia Eagles, completing three of four passes for 29 yards and a touchdown.
The Broncos fall from grace was drastic in 2016-17 after winning the Super Bowl the prior year. Between Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch, Denver just couldn't take advantage of having one of the best wideout duos in the NFL.
If Denver does make a deal work for Romo, it would be the second time they lucked into a top-tier quarterback near the end of his career, following the path of Peyton Manning.
