Ohio State flips nation's No. 3 pro-style quarterback from Maryland

Ohio State got a huge pick up on Monday afternoon, as the country's no. 3 ranked pro style quarterback Dwayne Haskins (6-foot-3, 193 pounds, Potomac, Md.) verbally flipped his commitment from Maryland to Ohio State. Haskins had perviously been verbally committed to the Terps since May of 2015. According to 247Sports, Ohio State's coaching staff, including head coach Urban Meyer knew Haskins was coming since mid-December, but he kept his commitment silent until Monday.

The get is big for the Buckeyes moving forward — Braxton Miller, who is participating in the Senior Bowl this month, was converted to a wide receiver after the 2014 season, and junior quarterback Cardale Jones indicated his intentions to enter the 2016 NFL Draft in November. OSU still had J.T. Barrett for the 2016 season, but behind him the depth is a little thin.
