Ohio State to honor Nebraska's Sam Foltz in a unique way

Ohio State will acknowledge Nebraska's Sam Foltz in an awesome way on Saturday.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are struggling, at least relative to expectations, on the field right now but those issues take a back seat on Saturday. Urban Meyer's team will face off with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a widely anticipated match-up and, prior to kick off, the Buckeyes will do a very positive and unique thing to honor fallen Nebraska punter Sam Foltz.

The significance of the number 27 is that Foltz donned that number while playing for the Huskers, and this is well done by Ohio State. It certainly is not the first tribute to Foltz, who passed away in a car crash alongside Mike Sadler this summer, but it is certainly nice of Ohio State to reach out in this fashion.

It is not the lead story when it comes to a game between two of the top 15 teams in the country, but Sam Foltz's memory should be honored and the Buckeyes are doing just that on Saturday.
