There are few people out there who think that there's actually a team better than Alabama right now. It would seem that college football expert Dan Wolken is one of them. He says that after Clemson's win over Florida State in Tallahassee, the Tigers are better than the Crimson Tide.

Clemson does have a better strength of record, but it is ten spots behind Alabama on the strength of schedule list and the Crimson Tide have blown out pretty much every team it's faced. Clemson has only faced two ranked teams at the time of the games while Alabama has faced five with two of them being in the top 10.
You can make your own call, but Alabama seems to be the clear favorite to win the SEC and make it to the College Football Playoff again. We'll have an idea of what the committee thinks as the playoff rankings come out for the first time this season on Tuesday.
