According to ESPN’s rankings, there were 15 recruits listed as five-stars and none of them landed on a Big 12 squad. The highest rated player to go to a Big 12 school was Justin Broiles who went to Oklahoma and is ranked No. 46 overall by ESPN.

The SEC had seven of the five-star recruits and Florida State had three on its own while the Pac-12 had another three and Ohio State had two for the Big Ten.
