Reports of over 100 ESPN employees losing their jobs came to a head on Wednesday, as dozens of television and internet personalities took to social media to announced that they had been laid off by the company.
Those media reports also included that some ESPN reporters would be reassigned, with Hannah Storm and Ryen Russillo specifically being named as employees that would have their "roles reduced" with the company. On Thursday, Russillo fired back at those reports, saying that he would be taking on more work with ESPN in wake of the layoffs.

Russillo may be staying with the company, but his radio show in its current incarnation did not survive the cuts; Russillo's radio show partner, Danny Kanell, was laid off by the company as Kanell announced on Wednesday.
Other victims of ESPN's cuts include breaking news reporter Brett McMurphy and college basketball analyst Andy Katz. Sportscenter mainstay John Buccigross and longtime NFL reporter Ed Werder were also laid off on Wednesday.
