A major shakeup could be coming to WWE television.

WWE announcer Mauro Ranallo may have just revealed he has left the company, as the Smackdown Live announcer has removed any mention of WWE from his Twitter profile where he previously listed as his current job.

Since being off WWE television for several weeks now, rumors have been running rampant surrounding his absence and whether or not longtime announcer and broadcast partner John “Bradshaw” Layfield played a role in Ranallo not appearing on Smackdown Live.

JBL responded to those rumors on his personal Twitter account Thursday evening:

Rumors of JBL’s involvement in Mauro’s absence have been out there for weeks, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter did report that their sources told them the issue boiled down to JBL taking the feud too far.

Tom Phillips has filled Ranallo’s place as the lead announcer at the SmackDown Live desk while Ranallo has been out. If Ranallo is indeed done with the company, that move may become permanent.
