One school is reeling after it loses the top recruit for the 2017 class

Things haven't been going their way recently.

And the hits keep on coming...

If things weren't already bad enough for the Oregon Ducks with their head coaching situation, their recruiting took another major blow on Tuesday. The Ducks, who aren't even in the Top 30 of recruiting, lost their top recruit when four-star corner Deommodore Lenoir (5-foot-11, 191 pounds, Los Angeles, CA) announced his intention to decommit from the program.

Lenoir is in the Top 100 of 247Sports' recruiting rankings, so it is safe to say that this is a big loss for Oregon. However, if Oregon is preparing to fire head coach Mark Helfrich, it makes sense for him to sit back and see what happens. He can always recommit to the Ducks, or he can go to a situation that he feels will be more stable for the next four or five years.
