One SEC team just lost two players to transfer, including a former four-star recruit

They're from the same position group, too.

Losing two players from the same position group on one day isn't exactly an ideal situation.

On Friday, Will Muschamp and South Carolina lost two linebackers to transfer, as it was reported by The State that Sherrod Pittman and Jalen Dread would be transferring from the program.

"After meeting with both Jalen and Sherrod, we mutually agreed to part ways," said Coach Muschamp said per The State. "We wish them both the best in the future."

Both players sparingly played in the two seasons that they were at South Carolina. Dread is a former three-star recruit, while Pittman is a former four-star recruit.
