Ousted LSU coach heading back to national title contender

That's a huge hire!

Back in February, LSU announced that wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig had been relieved of his duties, and that running backs coach Jabbar Juluke had been "re-assigned to a position within athletic department". Craig is a former Auburn and NFL quarterback that had been at LSU for one season after jumping ship from Auburn last year. Craig had been a key recruiter for LSUand it looks like he might have found a new place to hang his hat, or rather an old place.

Craig was on the staff at Florida State from 2010 to 2012, which means he was crucial in the recruitment of one Heisman winning quarterback in Jameis Winston. The news seemingly came out of nowhere as he apparently just showed up at the first spring practice of the year.

And then came the official announcement:

Craig has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Tuskegee and South Alabama as a coach. He is known as a superb recruiter and he owns the southeast in that regard. That will be key for FSU as the Seminoles try to steal some recruits out of Gator and Hurricanes territory in the state of Florida.
