Four-star linebacker Pete Werner is the No. 2 recruit in the state of Indiana and the No. 17 outside linebacker according to 247Sports. The Indianapolis native spurned Indiana, Michigan and Notre Dame to commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The 6'3", 220-pound linebacker had 27 offers including those from Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee and Texas A&M among others.
