Police have reportedly apprehended a Boston man who they say ruined Pittsburgh's night ahead of playoff tilt

Nice try, Pats fan.

According to ESPN, via Pro Football Talk, police have apprehended a man they say planned out pulling the fire alarm at the Pittsburgh Steelers' hotel around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

The New England Patriots play host to the Steelers in Sunday's AFC Championship game at 6:40 p.m. ET. The man is reportedly facing charges of disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and pulling a false alarm.

He reportedly pulled the alarm, ran out of the hotel and hopped into a car before fleeing the scene. The ringing reportedly continued for 30 minutes until everyone was allowed back in.

There's been plenty of history of hometown fans ruining the sleep of visiting teams, but the cops tracking this fan down might help prevent it in the future.
