Post-WrestleMania plans emerge for some of WWE’s biggest stars

As of this writing, WWE has not announced if and when the 2017 WWE Draft will take place.

Last year, the brand split in the WWE returned and stables like the New Day were drafted to Monday Night Raw, while other big names like AJ Styles were drafted to Smackdown Live. However, current rumors suggest we might be seeing the New Day move to Smackdown Live while Styles makes the jump to Raw.

"The two roster trades Vince McMahon is most interested in seeing involve AJ Styles moving to Raw while The New Day head to SmackDown. Styles current storyline with Shane McMahon might be the reason he's moved to Monday nights."

It's been rumored for some time that the 2017 iteration of the WWE Draft will not be as big as last summer's. Instead, we could be treated to more trades rather than the two shows just making draft selections.

With Styles feuding with the Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon, it comes as no surprise to see that Vince McMahon would like to see him moved to Raw. Styles has been the biggest part of Smackdown since the brand split, and Raw could certainly use a guy like Styles.

The New Day getting moved to Smackdown Live would also make sense, as the trio has fallen off since losing their Raw Tag Team titles. Moving them to the Smackdown Live tag team division may be just what that division needs, too.
