Projected mid-round pick could go even higher now that teams know he's legally blind

This is some crazy news.

Former Florida offensive tackle David Sharpe is an interesting prospect coming into the NFL Draft. He's a humongous 6'6", 343-pound lineman that has great hands and can battle at the line. However, a complaint about him has been that he gets off the line slowly and reacts poorly at time on the line. Well, it looks like some new piece of medical news might be the answer for that.

Sharpe is projected to go anywhere from the fourth to sixth round. But if he's moved to a different spot along the offensive line where seeing out of his right eye won't hurt him as much, he could potentially go sooner than thought. That news also excuses some of the complaints against him and makes it clearer why he was struggling more than he probably should have been.
