Purdue found out about their coach's firing in the worst way possible

How do you not let the players know sooner?

Purdue has fired its head coach in Darrell Hazell after three-plus seasons. He went 9-33 and had never won back-to-back games in his tenure as head coach.

While former LSU coach has been eyed by the program as the replacement for Hazell, the team had yet to inform its players of the change and the fact that Gerad Parker would be taking over as the interim head coach.

That's a terrible look and the players should always be the first to know before anything gets leaked out to the media.
