Recent Alabama quarterback flip Mac Jones is not wasting any time trying to surround himself with some superb talent for when he gets on campus at Tuscaloosa.

Jones was at the Rivals 5-Star Challenge and he was already in the ears of some big time receivers that he's hoping to throw to in a Bama uniform in 2017. He talked about who they were and what he hopes to see out of them should they all come together.

"Wide receiver-wise, Jerry Jeudy, Devonta Smith and Henry Ruggs were the big ones. I threw with them like every time I went up there. We really clicked every time on and off the field.

"Smitty did really good at the Rivals camp. Jeudy, a south Florida kid, is really quick and I'd love to be throwing to him. Henry Ruggs is like Smith and really quick, too. Any of those guys would be good at Alabama and I'd like to have all of them."

An underrated player Jones was also talking to was four-star offensive tackle Walker Little. He didn't have a lot of interest in Alabama, but the 6'8", 205-pound behemoth might take a visit now. Jones talked about how he might have made the big man change his mind about a campus visit.

"He wasn't really excited about Alabama or anything like that, but once he got to meet me, he was like, 'Oh I want to take a visit, get out there with you and maybe we'll play together in college,'" Jones said. "I think me and Walker bonded together the best. I spent a lot of time with him on and off the field."

Jones has only been committed for a week, but it looks like he is really trying to build a nice foundation for the Crimson Tide over the next few years.
