Florida will be without redshirt sophomore running back Mark Thompson against Georgia on Saturday, and the suspension reportedly stems from a marijuana citation early Thursday morning, per the Orlando Sentinel.

After a cryptic tweet announced the suspension, the Sentinel's Edgar Thompson added details.
The running back was reportedly stopped after he ran a stop sign and a UF Police Department spokesperson added the officer smelled the odor of marijuana and discovered fewer than 20 grams.
Thompson was reportedly given a misdemeanor violation, as well as failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to provide proof of insurance.
Thompson has rushed for 262 yards and two touchdowns this season. Running backs Jordan Scarlett and Lamical Perine will fill his void.
