Report: Alabama could be losing yet another assistant coach

Another one?

Alabama has already lost major assistants Lane Kiffin and Mario Cristobal in the past few weeks, and it looks like they could be on the verge of losing another.

Rumored by both Scout.com and FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman, linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi may be a candidate for Cal's open defensive coordinator job under new head coach Justin Wilcox.

Wilcox actually has a lot of connections to Alabama's current staff; he was also the defensive coordinator at Washington and USC under Steve Sarkisian, who now serves as Alabama's offensive coordinator. Lupoi, meanwhile, actually played under Wilcox when both were at Cal in the early 2000s. Lupoi has since worked at Cal, Washington, and Alabama.
