Report: Alabama may have found its starting quarterback

This is quite the turn of events!

Alabama is in desperate need of a quarterback this season as it is expected to have a pretty stout defense again and good special teams. The running backs coming through Alabama are always great so that's not an issue, but now the Crimson Tide needs someone to throw to their excellent receivers and it seems a leader is emerging.

With the first game of the season against USC looming it's becoming more important to name a starter so the offense knows what it's getting into this season and for that game. Founder of Rivals.com and 247Sports Shannon B. Terry believes he knows who will start.

While the freshman Jalen Hurts may not start at the beginning of the season it definitely sounds like he will be wresting the job from someone else as his improvement becomes undeniable and the time will come to get his reps in real game situations.
