Report: Cowboys trade for veteran quarterback

There goes the Kellen Moore dream.

With quarterback Tony Romo out for the at least the next eight weeks, the Dallas Cowboys inserted Brandon Weeden into the starting lineup last week, called up former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore and reportedly traded for Matt Cassel on Tuesday:

Over his 11-year career, Cassel has racked up 72 starts. He's thrown 96 touchdowns to 70 interceptions and recently lost out on the starting quarterback battle to Tyrod Taylor in Buffalo.
