Report: Georgia has its starting QB for the UNC game

Here we go!

The Jacob Eason hype train has been going full steam all summer ever since he stepped foot on campus. He's been on the verge of becoming the starter and there have been plenty of hints that he would be the guy to start against North Carolina to open the season.

The freshman phenom seemed to be taking the starting job from Brice Ramsey and Greyson Lambert and it looks like we might have confirmation. According to Scout.com, Eason was told he'll play the entire game next Saturday against North Carolina.

Lambert is going to become the second-stringer while Ramsey will be the third-string quarterback. Eason has been working with the No. 1 unit in practices for some time now so it was only a matter of time until his No. 1 status became official.
