Report: Kevin Sumlin 'trying hard' to get a NFL job

It has been a rough year for Texas A&M and head coach Kevin Sumlin. The Aggies were expected to do pretty well in the SEC West and fell very short of those expectations. Not only did they lose the bowl game against Louisville, but also lost two quarterbacks in Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen who transferred out of the program.

With all of the hardship and controversy surrounding A&M, NFL Network's Michael Silver is reporting that Sumlin is trying to make the jump to the pros.

There definitely won't be any sort of shortage for jobs in the NFL this offseason with so many coaches getting fired and a few other teams in turmoil looking to make a change.
