Report: Marshawn Lynch could be headed back to the NFL

It's only fitting this report comes out ahead of the first game.

Marshawn Lynch retired in the middle of the Super Bowl, and it looks like he couldn't even make it an entire offseason without second-guessing himself.

According to Pro Football Talk, Lynch is "up in the air" about possibly returning, with a target date of Week 4 or 5, possibly.

Lynch's rights currently belong to the Seahawks, and his $9 million salary would be prorated against the cap if he were to join the active roster.

With Christine Michael showing out in camp and Thomas Rawls coming on strong last season, it would appear the Seahawks have moved on. That could certainly change based on production early on and how the team fares.
