Yet another NFL coach has reportedly been fired

Oh boy...

It looks like they tried to bury this one late on New Year's Eve.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers are expected to fire head coach Chip Kelly and general manager Trent Baalke.

Kelly was hired to be the 49ers' head coach earlier this year, but things quickly soured as San Francisco plummeted down the standings. Just a couple of years removed from a Super Bowl appearance under Jim Harbaugh, San Francisco now sits in the NFL's cellar with a 2-13 record.

Baalke has been San Francisco's general manager for the past five years, and he's been with the organization in total for over 10. It now looks like both he and Kelly will be looking for new jobs as the NFL season comes to a close.
