Report: Steelers appear to have starting QB figured out for Week 9 tilt with Ravens

Sunday's tilt is an important one.

Just two weeks after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is reportedly "on track" to start Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Big Ben was initially expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks after suffering a meniscus injury in Pittsburgh's Week 7 loss to New England. However, after Roethlisberger had surgery earlier this month, team doctors said recently he's on schedule for just a two-to-three week recovery period.

After losing Roethlisberger in a loss to the lowly Miami Dolphins, the Steelers then dropped a home contest to the New England Patriots, dropping their record to 4-3 on the season.

In desperate need of a win and facing the division-rival Ravens, Pittsburgh needs all the help it can get. With a hampered Roethlisberger, expect the Steelers to lean even more heavily on running back Le'Veon Bell.
