Roger Goodell tip-toes around why NFL didn’t correct misleading ESPN report

When asked why the NFL didn't correct misleading information in a January report by ESPN, Roger Goodell responded with his own version of shake and bake.

NFL New England Patriots writer Ben Volin posed the question— referring to the ESPN report that stated 11 of the 12 balls were deflated by two-pounds each when in fact they were deflated by 2 pounds per-square-inch below the minimum of 12.5 PSI (it's science folks). Roger Goodell did some fancy footwork when he gave his answer.

Sounds a lot like some of the answers given during last weeks preseason primary Republican presidential debate. Hey Goodell, it's not too late to throw your hat in the ring, you've got the hair for it.
