Ronda Rousey backs out of Holly Holm rematch, and here's why

Ronda Rousey won't fight Holly Holm at UFC 200.

The Ronda Rousey Rematch With Holly Holm is Currently on Hold

The rumored UFC 200 tilt between Ronda Rousey and current UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm is off.

According to UFC president Dana White, via Yahoo, filming for Rousey's upcoming movie, "Roadhouse," was delayed and she's asked for more time off.

"The filming of the movie got pushed back," White said. "She could do both, but the question is, should she do both? She could do both, but why should she? The filming is in a time frame where she'd finish before 200, but it would be cutting it too close."

The move comes not long after Holm's camp called out Rousey.

Holm knocked out Rousey back in November, handing the former champ her first loss over her UFC tenure.

The current champ will take on Miesha Tate in March, and she'll likely have a separate opponent at UFC 200 in July. Who knows, maybe we'll finally get a Cyborg super fight?
