The SEC, Georgia, and South Carolina have somewhat been stalling about potential changes to the current game that is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Saturday in Columbia. The schools and the conference are attempting to hold the game as schedule, but in the end, the decision might not be up to them.

Ahead of likely inclement weather thanks to Hurricane Matthew, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has given South Carolina a bit of an ultimatum about the potential dangers of hosting the game.
South Carolina has already planned evacuations along its coastal areas, and state resources — including police, fire, and paramedics — may be tied up by the impacts of the hurricane. If the game indeed doesn't have state support, then South Carolina and Georgia may not be able to hold the game in Columbia.

Options for the game have included moving it to Sunday, and even moving it further inward to a neutral location like Atlanta. Central Florida and Tulane have already cancelled their scheduled game for Saturday, and other schools like Florida and N.C. State are seeking out their options.
Hopefully the SEC, South Carolina, and Georgia are able to come to an agreement that seeks out the safety of all parties involved.
