The Seattle Seahawks had absolutely no reason to go for it on fourth down, up 21 in the fourth quarter. Yet, punter Jon Ryan ran for it and he paid for it big time.
While sprinting up the middle, Ryan ran for his life before getting absolutely crushed.
As he started to lose the ball for no apparent reason (maybe the pure terror of running down the middle of the field), Ryan got leveled and had his head smashed into the ground.
Maybe Carroll will consider not rubbing it in his opponent's face next time.
