SI's top 101 wrestlers list is stunningly disrespectful to one of the best ever

They put Hogan where?!

Sports Illustrated put together the "definitive" ranking of the top 101 wrestlers ever, and while it's a pretty solid read, there are a few absolute shockers. None greater than skimming down the list and finding Hulk Hogan, the face of wrestling not first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth.

The name synonymous with WWE/WWF, Hogan, ranks below Ric Flair (ok, we can see that one), Shawn Michaels (why?!), Stone Cold Steve Austin (what?!), The Rock (stop playing), The Undertaker (ok, seriously stop it), Dusty Rhodes (hard times indeed) and John Cena (????).

We're still not entirely sure how the list was made up, but Hogan (No. 8), Sting (No. 9) and "Macho Man" Randy Savage dropping to No. 11 are quite insane.

Three of the most talented guys to ever step inside the ring not even in the top 5 is wild. Whether it's from a charisma standpoint, actual ringwork or what, it's hard to imagine any world where these guys aren't in some variation of the top 5.

Just for fun, here's my re-rank of the top 10.

1. Ric Flair
2. Hulk Hogan
3. Randy Savage
4. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
5. Sting
6. Undertaker
7. John Cena
8. Bret Hart
9. Shawn Michaels
10. The Rock
