Someone tell Kirk Cousins this is not how you hand the ball off

This play wasn't as weird as it might look.

Yeah, no.

That's definitely not a good photo op. But when you watch video of Kirk Cousins attempting to hand the ball off to running back Matt Jones on this play of their matchup with Detroit Sunday, it doesn't look anywhere near as suspect as the still does. Cousins actually trips over the turf monster and attempts to hand or pitch the ball to Jones as he's falling, but he fumbles and the Lions recover.

Next time Cousins should probably just take the loss instead of both looking like a fool and turning the ball over on the same play.
