"Sorry, Will!" - Steve Spurrier, probably.

There are plenty of South Carolina fans who are excited about the new Will Muschamp regime as he's already made the promise that they will be a hard working bunch. It sounds like he'll have to work pretty hard on the recruiting trail after listening to this interview from previous coach Steve Spurrier about what exactly he left Muschamp.

This might sound familiar to SEC fans to a certain situation in 2010 when one head coach left the school for "health and family reasons" only to get back into coaching. Yes, that was Urban Meyer and most people would agree that he left the cupboard completely bare before taking his cushy job at ESPN for a year and then heading off into the sunset at Ohio State.

One of these guys has nothing to lose in retirement while the other will refuse to admit to making any sort of mistake when it comes to why he left a school he led to two national titles under some strange circumstances.
