Steelers could be without one of their most explosive offensive weapons for a year

That is not good news for the Steelers or Ben Roethlisberger.

Pittsburgh could be facing a tough offensive season in 2016 with recent news that receiver Martavis Bryant might be missing the entire season. He was suspended last year for four games due to a violation of the league's drug testing policy. When he returned for the Steelers he hauled in 50 receptions for 765 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games. He is easily one of the most explosive receivers in the game and this stat illustrates just how huge he was for the Steelers last year.

Bryant's agent confirmed Saturday that the receiver plans to appeal the suspension. Bryant spent time with John Lucas who is a drug addiction counselor and someone who had issues himself so he is best equipped to handle this kind of situation. Hopefully Bryant can get his life back on track and stay off the bad stuff so he can continue to be a joy to watch on the field.
