Former LSU track standout Cyril Grayson hasn't played football since high school, but he just signed a deal with the Seattle Seahawks after an impressive performance at LSU's Pro Day.
Grayson didn't play college football, but the team let him participate in Pro Day drills. Grayson ran a 4.33 40-yard dash, and the 5'9", 178-pound receiver garnered interest from Pete Carroll and the Seahawks.

Grayson doesn't have to enter the draft since he didn't play college football and he's a fifth-year senior. He recorded 731 yards and 28 catches as a senior in high school in Louisiana.
"It's always been a dream of mine," Grayson said via the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "People take different routes to get different places. I came here and ran track. Nobody here today has the resume that I have. Nobody else is a seven-time All-American, five-time All-SEC, and four-time national champion. It speaks for itself."
The Seahawks are in need of playmakers on offense, and Grayson could fit in the same way Percy Harvin did a few years ago in Seattle. Grayson could also return punts and kickoffs for the Seahawks.
It's a bold move for Seattle, but the Grayson's elite speed could be beneficial for the team.
