Tennessee defensive lineman suspended from team after arrest

This is not a good look for Tennessee at all.

Tennessee defensive lineman Alexis Johnson has been suspended from the team after being arrested and held at the Knox County Jail for 12 hours. The Tennessean had the initial report and WBIR has further information on the charges.

The JUCO transfer from Atlanta has already posted bond. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Johnson transferred to Tennessee this offseason after two seasons at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. Johnson was a four-star prospect and the consensus top defensive tackle in the nation from the junior-college ranks.
