Tennessee getting back top playmaker ahead of Alabama game

Huge news for Tennessee.

After Alvin Kamara made power 5 history in Tennessee's loss to Texas A&M, the Volunteers couldn't have asked for better news.

Head coach Butch Jones announced Wednesday that standout running back Jalen Hurd is at "full strength" and he'll return to the lineup Saturday against top-ranked Alabama, per SEC Country.

"He's practiced. It's been great to have him back on the practice field," Jones said during the SEC Teleconference.

"He's back full-strength. I've really liked the way he's approached the week. We're excited to have him back. He'll be back and ready to go."

After Kamara totaled 275 yards and three scores in Tennessee's loss to the Aggies.  Hurd has rushed for over 400 yards and two touchdowns this season.

With a two-headed backfield, Tennessee poses possibly the greatest threat to Alabama's unbeaten season yet. We'll see if the Volunteers respond on Saturday, or if they fall behind early like they have nearly all season.
